We have over 25 years of RnD and field testing developing this cam grind. Not to mention testing different grinds in hundreds of different airboat applications. Yes of coarse you can run a bigger cam and make around 8 more HP but you will not turn anymore RPM's but you will wipe out your valve guides in under 25 hours. We have seen this often with factory rockers. Your geometry goes out the window and your flat tip rocker pushes the valve over causing extreme guide wear. Unless your running full roller aftermarket rockers or only care about racing this is the best all around EFI cam for your airboat. Unless you run odd ratio or have a unique application or run a power adder. In that case call us for a more specific lobe profile for your needs.
